Wendy Rodriguez
Wendy Rodriguez partners with foundations to get the most out of their grantmaking systems and the people who run them. She specializes in Fluxx optimization, tailoring configuration, workflows, and reporting to how each foundation actually operates, and guides vendor-neutral system selection when clients are evaluating their options. She also steps in to augment grants management teams during staffing transitions or heavy workload periods, ramping up quickly and training staff so new systems stick. Her focus throughout: making the technology and process work for the people using it, not the other way around.
Prior to joining 1892, Wendy spent over a decade working across grantmaking systems and processes. Most recently, Wendy led Grants and Systems Management at TCC Group, where she optimized the organization’s grants management system. She also built and maintained the tools, templates, and budgets that powered Fluxx and CyberGrants for a range of clients. She began her career at The Bay and Paul Foundation, where she implemented Blackbaud Grantmaking (formerly GIFTS), reducing application processing time while improving accuracy and compliance.
Wendy holds a B.A. in Psychology from Skidmore College. She lives in Florida, where she loves to skate and ride bikes with her two children.
