Rebecca Smith

Rebecca Smith leads 1892’s Fluxx work, advising foundation clients on implementing and maintaining grantmaking systems; training staff; leading data migration efforts; defining and refining grants processes and procedures; and developing communications and change management plans aligned with these projects. Rebecca prioritizes design of beautiful, easy-to-use solutions and encourages clients to dream big. She also loves leveling-up system administrators with new skills, tips and tricks.

Rebecca brings 25 years of experience working with foundations, both as a consultant and as the former Information Systems Manager at The Kresge Foundation. Rebecca received her B.F.A. with Highest Honors from College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan, and is a former Board and Executive Committee Member (Secretary) of Technology Association for Grantmakers (TAG) and served on the TAG Conference Logistics Committee.
