Aimée Bruederle

Aimée Bruederle partners with clients on grantmaking process design and improvement, system optimization, selection, and implementation.

With more than two decades of experience in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors, Aimée Bruederle has focused her career on guiding grantmaking strategy and operations. She spent eleven years at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, where she led grantmaking operations for the Gender Equity and Governance program. During her final year there, she stepped into the role of Interim Director of Grantmaking, Learning, and Operations, a position in which she established departmental objectives and spearheaded a multi-million dollar Salesforce implementation and comprehensive training initiative.

Aimée previously served at Tides, where she provided philanthropic advisors and grantees with essential grants management capacity-building support. She holds a B.B.A. in Management and Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and an M.P.H. with a specialization in Global Reproductive Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Aimée lives in the wine country of Northern California, on Graton Rancheria and Coast Miwok land, and spends as much time as possible traveling, hiking, and taking art classes.
