Rebecca Smith (she/her), Senior Consultant

Rebecca Smith leads 1892’s technical service offerings and brings 20 years of experience working with foundations, both as a consultant and as the former Information Systems Manager at The Kresge Foundation. Rebecca has supported foundations through evaluating, selecting, and implementing grantmaking systems; training staff and providing post-launch support of systems; leading data migration efforts; defining and refining grants processes and procedures; and developing communications and change management plans aligned with these projects. 

Rebecca received her B.F.A with Highest Honors from College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan, and is a former Board and Executive Committee Member (Secretary) of Technology Association for Grantmakers (TAG) and served on the TAG Conference Logistics Committee. Her hobbies include teaching, training and competing in the sport of dog agility.
